About me.
I journeyed in creating Not a Casserole Widow™ to offer community, resources, workbooks, and support for women encountering betrayal and divorce simultaneously. While there were numerous workbooks and sources of information available separately on betrayal and divorce, I struggled to find a comprehensive resource that addressed both areas.

This excerpt from Not A Casserole Widow™ Divorce and Betrayal Trauma Survival Guide: Volume 1: Complex Emotions briefly explains what it means to be not a casserole widow:

"During the initial stages of my divorce, a beloved pastor in our community also passed away. The contrast in the support received by his widow, who was showered with assistance and casseroles, was stark compared to the lack of support I experienced. However, both of us shared the painful reality of losing our husbands and the death of our marriages. I do not want you to feel as isolated and lonely as I felt. Thus, I have named my workbook series Not a Casserole Widow™."

Because the experience of betrayal and living in a covertly (or overtly) abusive relationship can feel deeply lonely and scary, I want you to know, you aren't alone and you have found a safe place.
