ABOUT THE AUTHOR AND FOUNDER

Kim Hansen Petroni, MA
BCC, CPC-S(APSATS), CES(ERCEM), CDC®

In 2016, Kim's life took an unpredictable turn which diverted her from the path she believed she was on. She felt led to inspire and educate betrayed partners.

As Kim pushed through her own grief and trauma, she walked through doors she believed would best train during this new journey. She

  • earned her Life Coach Certification, BCC

  • completed A Door of Hope training - certification for group facilitator for betrayed partners

  • obtained her Association for Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists certification, APSATS-S

  • attended Brainspotting training

  • obtained the certification helping couples through the Early Recovery Couples Empathy Model (ERCEM), CES

  • achieved certification as a Certified Divorce Coach®, CDC®

To add to those certifications, she had the privilege of training directly with Barb Steffens and Omar Minwalla.  Kim is grateful for the leadership she has received and blessed with the enduring friendships achieved as well.

This workbook is like having a trauma-informed divorce coach on speed dial in the middle of the night! From its opening pages and throughout every chapter, Kim vividly articulates the challenges faced by survivors of betrayal-related divorce. Through the crucial bedrock of validating practical emotional acuity, Kim tenderly invites readers to redefine themselves and their proverbial “widowhood," by introducing an updated vocabulary saturated with insight, intuition and empowerment. For anyone along the trajectory of healing from a relationship that didn’t survive betrayal, consider making this workbook your new best friend. You’ll be glad you did."
